Report from Pastor Vladimir Osipov

20 September 2017 No Comment

I would like to share some news related to the partnership my church and missions school has with Russians Reaching Russians (RRR).

First, this summer, we graduated the 19th class of our missions school. The graduates were sent to a number of different regions throughout Russia to help churches and Christian rehabilitation centers for drug addicts, and some graduates were commissioned to go to Kaliningrad to reproduce the missions school in that region. Several ministers from our church have lain a foundation for such a school in Kaliningrad and we are looking forward to many good reports from their efforts. We are also praying now to be able to start a similar school in Perm, which is located in the Ural Mountains region. This effort is in cooperation with Pastor Valery Trenogin.

We would like to thank you for the prayer and support we receive from Russians Reaching Russians. It enables us to equip and send missionaries to all of Russia. Our students are equipped to disciple new believers and to train others to do so, thereby reproducing themselves. We use the First Steps Discipleship program that was developed and introduced to us by the Russians Reaching Russians leaders, and we find that it really helps them to become confident in helping young Christians to be established in their faith in Christ. Christians become disciples and take root in church. It is all possible because of the support and training we have been receiving from Russians Reaching Russians teams.

Please know that I am grateful to everyone who supports Russians Reaching Russians both prayerfully and financially. I also ask that you continue to pray for us as we help more churches and Christians in Russia to know and practice foundational discipleship throughout all of Russia and beyond!

Sincerely,

Pastor Vladimir Osipov
