Many are fascinated by the end-time events characterized in scripture. There are various teachings and beliefs concerning the different roles countries and nations will play as these events unfold. Politically and militarily, Russia is usually portrayed as the big, bad guy in most scenarios, and in no way would I argue against those beliefs. In fact, I see a great deal of darkness in the political realms of today’s Russia, But allow me to bring some balance by pointing out some things that many might not readily consider.

Before you continue reading, I would like to invite you to consider supporting the ministry of RRR financially and view it as an opportunity to contribute to the great harvest of the last days that we are yet to see. You can use following link to  give online.

In preparation for a plunge into any end-times teaching, it is good to remember some things.

First, people in all nations are deeply loved by God and He willingly paid the highest price for every person in all nations. The blood of the Lamb was shed on behalf of everyone. That should remind us of what He thinks how He feels about the nations. As such, none of us has the theological ground to demonize anyone. The simple truth is that God created Russia for Himself, and He longs for them to be restored and reconciled to Him.

This brings me to the second point. God has a specific plan for His body in every nation to be used for the spread of the gospel. The Bible does not offer specifics concerning the plans for every people and nation, yet the Spirit of God reveals many things concerning the body of Christ throughout the centuries, and history also serves as a revelatory tool to demonstrating how God moves in the world using different nations.

What do you understand about what the Spirit of God and historical developments over recent decades are revealing about God’s plans to use the Russian Church in the last days? For example, would you be surprised to know that God uses many Russian-speaking Jews who have returned to the Holy Land to preach the gospel plant churches among other Israelis and Arabs alike?

As well, there have been a number of very specific prophecies given by respected ministers indicating that a great worldwide revival would start in Russia and spread to the rest of the world.

Another powerful example stems from the great missionary statesman Hudson Taylor. Taylor, 1832- 1905., was a famous missionary to China who had a quite unique experience as told in the publication, Spiritual Revival, in 1945.On one of Taylor’s furloughs to England in 1855, he was preaching when he suddenly stopped. He stood speechless for a time with his eyes closed. When he began to speak again he explained. “I have seen a vision. I saw in this vision a great war that will encompass the whole world. I saw this war recess and then start again, actually being two wars. After this, I saw much unrest and revolts that will affect many nations. I saw in some places spiritual awakenings. In Russia, I saw there will come a general all-encompassing, national spiritual awakening, so great that there could never be another like it, From Russia, I saw the awakening spread to many European countries. Then I saw an all-out awakening, followed by the Coming of Christ.”

This is one of many examples of what we know and believe about Russia’s role in taking the gospel to the rest of the world. In fact, we have begun to see Russian missionaries going to the corners of the world. Stories like these never make the front pages our newspapers, but they serve as hope for the Russian Church and its role on the world. God has His own plans for them, and these plans will prevail, and that is why we continue to invite you to participate in the ministry of RRR. You are partners in this strategic work.  Here is one more example of prophetic words about the role of Russia in the end times.
