Looking back on 2017 and forward to 2018 by Nadia Stagneeva.

2017 was blessed and full of miracles! It began with our ministry in orphanages as we presented a play. 250 people come out and each received a Christmas gift from our church.
We also started 2017 with a Bible class for those who wanted to be involved in church ministry. My husband, Sergey, trained ten people, and they began serving in the church immediately after they graduated. Every year, our team grows, and it is a great blessing because we have two daughter churches and those church-plants are growing!

Last year, an anti-missionary law was passed in Russia and we are learning how to negotiate our way between proclaiming the gospel and inviting people to church. According to the new law, doing so is now illegal
One of the things we celebrate, however, is the deeper level of fellowship, partnership and coordination between the different churches in our city. We are joining forces to plan events and ministry together, and we will hold several collaborative conferences in 2017.

Traveling plans for this fall (by Denis Kozlov)

We are just weeks away from our regular short-term missions trip to Russia. American
Christians will be traveling to Saint Petersburg to minister to Russian Christians and church
leaders. Please pray for God’s blessings and His presence to be with the team. I, together with
team leaders and Russian pastors, have coordinated and organized a rather aggressive plan for
this trip.
First, we will conduct the annual leadership conference for pastors and their spouses as well as
church and ministry leaders. Each year, we focus on issues and topics that serve to encourage
